Schools will be opened in the country after the worsening situation due to Corona virus (Covid-19) becomes normal and the lockdown is completely over. But when the schools open after the lockdown, everything will not be the same there. There will be many changes to be seen there. Along with schools, students and teachers will also have to follow these changes. For this, the central government has started preparations.
Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had also talked about this issue in a meeting with the education ministers of the states last week. Now the officials of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) have given information in this regard. He has informed that the guidelines are being prepared by the Department of School Education and Literacy of the Ministry.
These guidelines are being prepared mainly regarding the seating arrangement of students in classes, social distancing and cleanliness in the school. After these guidelines are finally prepared, they will be issued to schools across the country. The ministry said that whenever schools and colleges open, there will be an emphasis on taking full care of the rules of social distancing for the safety and health of the students. Significantly, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued necessary guidelines for higher educational institutions.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, every country including India went into lockdown. Schools were closed and they were required to conduct online classes. After a year of online classes, schools had started to open and students started attending school. Today, I will talk about my first day at school after the lockdown. I was so happy when I went back to school. After a long time, I put on my school uniform. I was wearing a mask. I went to school by bus. When I reached the school, the security guard checked my temperature with a thermal scanner.
After that, I went to my class and met my friends. I was very happy because I saw my friends after a long time, but I also felt sad because I could not hug them because I had to maintain social distance. I talked a lot with my friends. After that, my class teacher came and I was very happy to see my teacher. I wished him and sat down. Everyone had to sit 2 feet apart from each other. The classes were still the same, nothing had changed. I was glad to see my other teachers as well.
Time passed quickly and soon it was time to go home. I went back home by bus. I will pray to God that a situation like covid-19 never comes.
